Genius tools to help you stay organized.
Albert Einstein is known for his belief that, “If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?”
According to a study published in Psychological Science, a team of researchers found that working at a tidy (Einstein would say empty) desk influences people to be more conventional, more generous and to make healthier choices. I know I'm not in a place to argue with this brilliance... are you?
Here are 5 solutions to organize your workspace and keep it clutter free- regardless of how big or small the area you have to work with. I've included links at the bottom of this post to each of these tools... and the best part is everything here is under $30!
Happy Organizing!

1. Wall Storage. Are you limited on space? Use your walls! These wall pockets are fantastic because they're not only file storage- they are also magnetic. Keep those files in order and put up your favorite photo at the same time.
2. Accessory Tray.
Imagine all the goodies you can store in here! Pens, charger cords, post-it notes, etc. Use a tray like this to store your everyday necessities out of sight, yet within easy reach. We love Poppin's variety of colors too!
3. Utility Cart.
The uses are endless for these carts! Files, cleaning supplies, binders, pens & markers. You name it, this cart can handle it. The size makes it perfect for small storage spaces and easy to use anywhere.
If you don't live near an IKEA, Michaels offers a great alternation in their Lexington Rolling Cart ($30).
4. Monitor Stand. Often overlooked, the right type of stand can provide more storage. Use the extra space for items you use on a daily basis- notepads, priority files, mobile phone, etc.- and you're now one step closer to a clear desk!
5. Cable Organizer.
There's nothing worse than a million cords tangled up and having to search for that ONE you need. Cable organizers can help your desk from looking like a wired catastrophe and make it easier for you to charge and use your devices!
